Die neue Box “The Perfect Elvis Presley Soundtrack Collection“ (Vö. 03.01.2014) von Elvis Presley präsentiert 20 digital optimierte CDs inklusive eines informativen Booklets. Dem Titel entsprechend vereint die Box alle 17 Soundtracks des Kings of Rock ´n ´ Roll. Dazu gibt es als Besonderheit noch drei rare Soundtrack-Compilations: „Jailhouse Rock“, „Follow That Dream“ und „Viva Las Vegas“.
„Jailhouse Rock” war ursprünglich eine EP mit fünf Titeln. (“Jailhouse Rock”, “Young & Beautiful”, “I Want To Be Free”, “Don’t Leave Me Now” and “Baby Don’t Care”). Die CD-Version in der Box erschien bisher nur als Album in Südafrika und beinhaltet neben den fünf Songs der ursprünglichen EP noch sieben weitere Lieder. „Follow That Dream“ ist eine Zusammenstellung der EPs „Flaming Star“, „Follow That Dream“ und „Kid Galahad“ auf einer CD. Auch die Filmversion „Viva Las Vegas“ (nicht zu verwechseln mit dem gleichnamigen Livealbum) wurde anfangs als EP mit vier Titeln veröffentlicht. Die CD in der Box bietet nun zwölf Songs.
